Elevator Puzzle

The elevator puzzle is what unlocks Floor -1. The light the Black Candle, enter the elevator on Floor 1, and ride each floor in the order the Old Book shows.

1. Light the Black Candle by combining it with the Lighter from the Poster Cutouts step (the Devora poster is reconstructed and burned → Bathroom Key → Bathroom → Mop Handle chain drops the Lighter).
2. Use the lit Black Candle inside the elevator on Floor 1 to trigger the puzzle sequence.
3. Check the Old Book for the color pattern.

The pattern is randomized on each run. The pattern reads top to bottom.

The default floor-to-color assignment is:

• 3rd Floor = blue
• 2nd Floor = green
• 1st Floor = red
• Ground Floor = white

The Old Book reorders them randomly; the colors stay attached to the colors, only the floor sequence changes. Read the colors from top to bottom in the book to know the correct floor order.

1. Ride the elevator to each floor in the book's order until the elevator becomes corrupted.
2. Once the elevator is corrupted, select Floor -1.

After Floor -1 you reach Iván's childhood room and the second film canister. After the Aurifer Knife chain, the same elevator / blue-door layout is reused for the Desiderium and Séptimo Arte sprint.
