How to Beat Vitria (Tentacle-Grab Enemy)

Vitria is a recurring enemy (and one of the chained boss fights) whose signature attack is a tentacle grapple.

1. Vitria's hold is fatal unless escaped — if you stop pressing, you die.
2. Mash the interact button repeatedly to break free.
3. Once free, time a follow-up attack — Vitria is usually staggered long enough to retaliate.

A Relicta ghost can also latch on to drain your life while you are pinned by Vitria. Break free before any Relicta reaches you, and don't engage Vitria in narrow corridors where Relicta spawn.

The Two Stooges achievement requires killing 2+ enemies at once (Carnitos kills don't count). The easiest setup is in narrow hallways near elevators, where enemies stack before you swing. The general combat rule and other multi-kill setups are on the combat strategy page.
